Week 1 of the WC is over. Its been amazing. And fun. And I have NOT slept enough.
The US looks to be in about as good a shape as a team could be after 2 games and 2 ties. We hold our future in our hands and play the weakest team in the group. If we win and England wins (and the goal differential holds up) we'll even advance first. And not have to face Brasil. Fantastic.
House hunting is going, neither well nor poorly. We've seen some houses we've liked, and a lot more that we didn't like. We've seriously considered putting offers on a few; unfortunately (or fortunately) they both went off the market today. But we have a much better idea of what we are looking for now, and I think we're both in a place where we are much more ready to move on something if it comes up. Now, its just a matter of time...
That being said, house, please please please please please pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee come up sooner rather than later. Please?
Holding my breath...
